そのため、
- 単語はわかるのに意味が取れない
- 読んでも内容が頭に残らない
という状態に陥りがちです。
しかし原因はシンプルです。

主節の主語と述語を見極める
まず最初にやるべきことは、文の骨格（主語＋述語）を見抜くことです。
例文①
One example of Matrix putting these values into practice when helping design public spaces in Britain is the Jagonari Women’s Educational Resource Centre, which provides social services for women.
一見すると非常に長いですが、やることはシンプルです。
- 主語：One example of Matrix
- 述語：is
👉 核の意味は
「Matrixの一例は〜である」
残りはすべて修飾です。
分解の具体的手順
① 前置詞（of, in, whenなど）以降を一旦カット
② 関係代名詞（whichなど）は後回し
③ 主語＋動詞だけ残す
この手順で読むと、長文でも一気に整理できます。

長文が読めない原因の多くは、「前から処理できていない」ことです。
そこで有効なのが、スラッシュリーディングです。

① 主語と述語を抜き出す

読み方のコツ
① 核を取る
👉 many of the women of Matrix / continued
② 前から順に意味を足す

- in academic and activist spaces → 分野で
- where〜 → そこで〜して
- ensuring〜 → その結果〜
👉 ポイント：
- 分詞構文は「後ろから足される情報」
- 「そして〜」「その結果〜」でつなぐ
語彙はわからなくてもいい、構造は絶対に見抜く
英検準1級では、知らない単語が出てくるのは普通です。
語彙がわからない場合
- 文脈で推測できる
- 少しわからなくても設問は解ける
しかし構造は別です
構造がわからないと：
- 主語と述語を取り違える
- 意味を真逆に解釈する
- 設問を外す
👉 結論：
- 語彙ミス＝部分的ミス
- 構造ミス＝致命的ミス
